There will be a Potato Day at Doulting Village Hall on Saturday, 9th February. Last year they had a good selection of seed potatoes for sale including the blight resistant sarpos.

Ratte Potatoes grown in a BucketRatte Potatoes grown in a BucketPotato Day: Saturday 9 Feb at Doulting School Community Hall. Some of us went last year and it was fun. Also very useful cus you can buy by the tuber and try out a much greater number of varieties. Especially useful if you are growing in tubs (like me). I had no trouble this way with blight last year (though I did lose all my tomatoes).

The event takes place in the community hall at the school. Anyone in the village will direct you.

Bus leaves Frome Market Place at 10:20 arrives Doulting 10:45. Buses at 36 mins past the hour for the return journey.
