Food Frome at the Courts, 31st October 2010

Food Frome was at the Punkie Apple Day (Punkie Night was traditionally the last Thursday in October) celebrations at The Courts National Trust gardens in Holt near Bradford on Avon on Sunday, 31st October, 2pm to 4pm.  Diane brought some more of her delicious Apple Bread with Crab Apple Jelly and some Dried Apple Rings and we also had a selection of apple varieties to taste.  The Courts is now closed for the winter but it is well worth visiting and they have an orchard containing many old and unusual apple varieties.
